In an interview with PCGamer, creative director James Worrall revealed that while the game doesn’t have a branching narrative, the six player characters offer different perspectives. It looks like a useful tool, one that allows you to tear through hordes of zombies with ease. It comes from the zombie bite on your character's arm, and allows them to enter a state where they become momentarily zombified. One interesting mechanic that has been shown off in gameplay trailers is the frenzy ability. There are guns in the game too, and so far we've seen pistols, shotguns and assault rifles/SMGs. I thought maybe the dredge baby was voiding this somehow? Even though I couldn't find anything on any forum suggesting this. I went for the good ending and had Iver convince Eyvind to sacrifice Juno and Arberrang survived. This seemed like the most sure fire way to go about this but it did not pop. The imported save file I used had Apostate killed in part 2 by Bolverk, Iver killed Castaway, and I did not open the gates for Bastion. The first time going for it was during my "Scrape By" run though. I posted this on another forum and no luck. Played this game a year ago but not getting this achievement really irked me as it's the only one I'm missing for all 3 games. |
